Hello there folks, as you might have seen on our moddb page a lot of changes have happened and I haven't written anything here yet. So now its time to write it here too. 
I will now present to you the latest of Battle-Force & The Forgotten Ones, this info can also be found on the "Battle-Force" or "The Forgotten Ones" page though.

How to install properly:

To install "Battle-Force: Multi Player" move the "battleforce" folder into your
"C:/Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/Sourcemods" Folder...

Also make sure that Source SDK Base 2007 is fully installed and that you have any other source game installed: HL2, CSS, TF2, HL2:EP1, HL2:EP2, etc...

If you get any errors during install, check our support topics on our homepage:

Notice:
You should delete all previous content of Battle-Force before you extract in the new version, this is due to that some files has been removed in new versions, if you still have those files then most likely the game will not work perfectly.

This new Battle-Force: Multi Player version includes the following changes(v6.75 Beta):

- Added breathe & heartbeat sound when low on health.
- Added breathe & heartbeat sound when low on stamina.
- Changed game name from "Team Deathmatch" to "Battle-Force".
- Added new parameters in gameinfo file.
- Reduced filesizes a lot!
- Minor bug fixes.
- Ironsight lag added.
- Updated Maplist, Mapcycle, Motd files and Steam.inf file.
- Blur shader element when ironsighted added.
- Remove veins HUD when dead & when you have joined a new game.
- Hide Health, Sprint & Ammo HUD when in vehicle.
- Added new Loading Scheme.
- Radio commands.
- Added emit particle / bullet decal on ground-turret.
- Lose Stamina when jumping.
- Fixed weapon weight in weapon scripts.

WHAT IS LEFT TO BE DONE:

- See your legs / body when looking down.
- Free aim! // Perhaps...
- Fix A.I.
- New Maps for A.I vs Humans.
- Change speed of the player when he is IRONSIGHTED! (If still not done/implemented)
- Fix thirdperson cam.

Battle-Force: Multi Player v6.75 Beta Full

I know that I should have released this patch a while ago.. My apologies.
This patch will remove all the "Hell yeah", "This is exciting, I wonder what will happen next", etc... sounds.
I have also added slight changes to the loading dialog, sourcescheme( the main menu ), replaced some sound files like the default locked sound and also replaced some with the null soundfile so that when you get hit a few times you will not emit the sound which says "I'm hit, you better get a medkit, hurry!".
Hopefully TFO will become slightly scarier now! :) and also stay tuned for TFO v2.0, I'm almost done with the coding, scripting, sound engineering, resourcing so then I'll have to complete the Chapter 4 map and Chapter 5 map and add new faceposer scenes and I could need some voice actors for these scenes and also the previous ones, as I'm not a good voice actor. If you are interested then send me a PM. :)

To install:
Extract the "tfo" folder into your "C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\Sourcemods\" folder. ( Make sure that your existing files has been overwritten by the new ones! )

The Final Islamabad map has finally been officially released! Tags: Islamabad Final Release ins_islamabad_final insurgency Insurgency MODDB Battle Force Battle-Force maps map best final finished fun

Hey guys, finally the final ISLAMABAD map has been released, you can find it 24/7 on my server so I hope we could be playing some active matches in this map! In this release I have fixed everything in the map, added more details, Full HDR, and more! The map will as well not crash anymore as I have fixed the compile issues, and I have optimized it heavily. So now I guarantee you that the FPS is going to be around 60-300 FPS! If you have a modern computer you should not worry. The fps drops to 70-60 in highly visible areas, where you are surrounded by a lot of brushes and details, and it arises when you are in not so heavily visible areas, where you are not surrounded by too many details. :)

Hello there, thanks for showing interest in the Islamabad project!
The development for this project has currently been CLOSED! Simply because the project is 100% FINISHED! Thats right! It's finito!!


The Schedule has been like this: (The maps included in this project)
1: ins_Akahablah (For CSS)
2: de_Kurizh (For CSS)
3: ins_Kurizh (For INS)
4: ins_Mosul (For INS) (Name were changed to ins_Kurizh_Extreme later on)
 5: ins_Kurizh_Extreme (For INS) (Never released due to compile errors and crashes)
6: BF_Battle_Kurizh_v2 (For Battle-Force) (BF is our HL2 mod, we fixed a little on ins_kurizh_extreme and used it for our mod)
7: BF_Peshaahr (For Battle-Force) (Fixed more on the BF_Battle_Kurizh_v2)

The big changes happened here:

8: ins_Islamabad Score 7 of 10 (For INS) (Finally a full release of INS_Kurizh_Extreme, what was ins_Kurizh_Extreme? Well, it was both ins_Kurizh and a new part added to the map which is ins_islamabad, this was removed in the BF_Battle_Kurizh and proceed without it from then on)

9: ins_Islamabad_night Score 8 of 10 (For INS) (The best release for its time! But I still did not fix the compile errors (Had to skip VVIS), so if you experienced issues with crashing and so on then that was the cause for it.. So It were not done yet!!)

10: ins_Islamabad_FINAL Score 10 of 10 (For INS) (The most detailed map ever! Features FULL HDR / HD. Finally I fixed all the compile bugs and errors and I can now compile the map with VVIS on normal!)

Ins_Islamabad_FINAL Documentation / Features:

Map Size: 56MB uncompressed
Default Textures?: Yes, lots of them!
Default Models: Yes, a few of those.
Compile Method: Hammer World Editor @ FULL HDR Compile -Final (!Slow!).
Compile Time: 6 Hours.
FULL HDR: Yep!
Optimization: Yes, most modern computers/laptops will manage to run this map on 65-90 FPS in huge detailed areas (Where it is a lot visibility) And around 100-300+ FPS where there is less visibility!
The map has been optimized by using advanced and precise PROP fading to props, using a thick and powerful fog to hide overlays, decals and so on. And as well reduce the max render able distance, you won't be available to render the whole map. It is set at 2500 Inches to be rendered, more will be rendered as you walk further into the map of course.
Safe Spawns?: Yes!
No known bugs or glitches?: Nope, this map is currently empty of bugs!
Available to exploit glitches/bugs?: There might be some but if you manage to do that you're probably cheating, so no.. There won't be available to find a lot of glitches like getting on a roof of a blocked off building.
Tactical Gameplay?: Oh hell yea!
Objectives?: Yes, there is four objectives: A, B, C and D!
Overview?: Yes.
Conflict Overview?: Yes.
IMC2 File?: Yes.
Resource file?: Yes.

Install Instructions: To run this map on a server or to play solo/lan move all the folders in your "ins_islamabad_final.Zip" over into your "C:/Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/ACCOUNT NAME/Insurgency/Insurgency" folder! If you get any message about overwrite existing files you should say yes to that!

FAQ:

Q1: Has the map been optimized now?
A1: Yes, now you will run it with at least 70 fps in high visible areas and 100-300+ FPS in areas where there is less visibility! :D
Q2: Will the map be hosted on some official servers?
A2: Yes, it will be hosted on my server here: 85.190.40.70:27015, but you're free to host in on your own server too.
Q3: Will the map crash my server?
A3: Nope, that only happened on the Islamabad day and night versions, the final version has been highly fixed so this will not occur, I guarantee it!

Soon 2010 is over and Fun-Piranesi has done a bunch of updating the past days and we now officially can say that we have done our part in the Modding Community this year!

BATTLE-FORCE: SINGLE PLAYER V2.0 BETA! UPDATE LOG:

- Added new Chapters 1 and 3
- Fixed scripts and textures
- Recreated Chapter 1 in a new theme, added the final chapter "Escape your Fate"
- Remastered Chapter 2
- Fixed horror scenes

Your name is John, you're an security official at the Crystal Mountain Rebel Outpost. Your job is to keep your eyes open for Combine Attacks...
Lately on your way home you didn't go into your daily experiences...

As always, you took the tram on your way home... For John, this was his only opportunity to get home. His working colleges had apartments just beside the Tram stations entrance area...

Here is John's diary of what happened that night:

Dear Diary
December 24. 2345 Clock is approximately 9 PM.

I was on my way home from work. My colleges said goodbye and went into their apartment block just up ahead the Tram station. As always I had to take the tram to get home to my beautiful wife.
As i went down the Tram dungeon, my skin started to shiver. It was cold, extremely cold. When I waited for the train I was thinking about Diana, my wife. That is what I usually am thinking about
before I take the tram. Why? Because I feel so alone. It is dark and dull, cold and sad. Flickering light. It makes me sick to go through this every fucking day! But.. Well, how could I else make some money?
Sacrificing yourself to work for the Combines is at last not worth it...

So finally the Tram arrived and I was ready for my departure.
Loop, loop.. A lot of train rails looping in my ears.. The sound of horror. I'm trying not to look out of the train windows. It makes me see things, unexplainable things..
I sometimes feel that there is someone sitting next to me. I'm trying to lay low and think about whatever makes my mind happy.

This night something else came to my mind. Suddenly I just looked out the window, and I could see this bloody woman jumping out from nowhere and the train just drove over her!
Ripping her into pieces of meat!
Some of her flesh got stuck in the train wheels. It was then I started to feel what had been surrounding me for all these years...
I could not see anything in the corners, but there was an staircase in the middle of the railway. I ran up there as fast as I could. When I got up there I could go further in, it was another staircase. As it lead up to the surface,
I ran like hell to get out of the tram dungeon.

When I came up to the surface it was even darker. I was in an huge abandoned city. I felt like I was in hell.
Is there anyway out of here??!!

The story is said to be true.

2. BETTER ACCURACY ON ASSAULT RIFLE, SNIPER RIFLE, K100, AK-47.

1. FIX AI FOR MULTIPLAYER. WE WILL CREATE A FEW "COLOSSEUM" MAPS WHERE YOU WILL FIGHT AGAINST NPCs IN AN EPIC COOPERATIVE GAMEPLAY MODE.
